Constructed of molded ceramic fiber insulation and a embedded
heating element, these heaters can be configured with alumina
or mullite inner liners providing the benefits of low thermal
mass and toughness in a single package. The heater makes an
ideal solution for many applications. The ceramic fiber insulation
is made of an alumina –silica composition, held together
by an inorganic binder. Its lightweight and low density properties
make it suitable for high temperature applications. Thermocouple
sensors can also be embedded in the assembly.
Features and Benefits:
High operating Temperatures to
2200°F (1200°C)
Standard operating voltages (low
voltage to line voltage)
Low mass insulation permits faster
thermal response to reach process temperatures.
Heaters
can handle rapid cycling
Self-contained modular package is
lightweight and shock resistant
